ATLANTIC CITY AFL TEAM NAME TO BE VOTED ON THIS WEEK

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ- Atlantic City AFL (AC AFL) announce that the five fan-submitted name options will be put into an online poll for fans to vote, which will be used to determine the official name of the League’s newest franchise. The five name choices include: Atlantic City Blackjacks, Atlantic City Gamblers, Atlantic City Jackpot, Atlantic City High Rollers and Atlantic City Royals. The poll can be accessed by visiting www.CatCountry1073.com.
When the League announced the franchise would be joining the League beginning in the 2019 season, the organization rolled out a contest to give fans the opportunity to enter their desired name choice through www.atanticcityafl.com, for chance to win the honor of naming the team. The individual submitting the winning name will receive inaugural season tickets, an official game helmet and team merchandise. The franchise received nearly 2,000 name submissions, which were then narrowed down to the top 10. From there, the 10 remaining names went through an internal review process, including a legal review, which ultimately led to the final five team name options.
“Receiving nearly 2,000 submissions of potential team names in less than one week really shows the excitement within the community about its new AFL team,” said George Manias, the AC AFL team President and COO. “It confirms that we came to the right market. We are excited to see the final vote and get started developing brand identity.”

Fans can secure their season tickets for the new Atlantic City Arena Football team now with a $50 deposit per seat ($75 for VIP seats) by calling 609-783-9494 or by going to AtlanticCityAFL.com. A team representative will contact those that have submitted a deposit within a week to select your specific seats, which will be done in order in which deposits were received.
